On the Cheap: 12 Summer Activities

One of the most frequent questions I have received during the past week is, "What to do this summer?!" Here are a dozen ideas. Please consider adding one of your own!

1. Set up the sprinkler.
2. Read.
3. Volunteer. (Help a neighbor!)
4. Have a picnic.
5. Garden.
6. Go on a hike.
7. Camp in the backyard.
8. Plan a scavenger hunt for the kids.
9. Have a yard sale. (Sell lemonade!)
10. Research community events.
11. Go to the zoo.
12. Check with the library for events.
